What Makes It Awesome?

It always comes as a surprise to know that a restaurant that has opened merely 3 weeks back will serve you food so good that you'd crave to be here at the earliest. Such was the case here at Banjara D'Lite, Goldfinch Express hotel's newest restaurant. They have a bar setup but aren't serving alcohol yet.

To begin with, they have a unique dish on the menu - the Okra salad, which is thin slices crisp fried okra seasoned like a regular greens salad. I started with the Rava pomfret fry - The fish is first well marinated, then it is coated with Rava evenly and deep-fried. The masalas in the marination give stunning flavours to the pomfret fish and the textures indeed marry well. Followed by the Prawns ghee roast - typical Mangalorean style ghee roast, the masalas were just perfectly seasoning the prawns. For chicken, the Angari chicken tikka is well recommended, for vegetarians - you can opt for tandoori paneer. For the main course, I had a delicious Chicken biryani served alongside well-flavoured raita.

To end with, I had the Chocolate mudpie - it was made using dark chocolate and topped with cherry and chocolate sauce. I can't wait to go back. The prices are really attractive as well.
