What Makes It Awesome

Set in a charming old house, with a jackfruit tree and a mango tree outside, the store is a little hard to spot (it’s right next to the NEXA showroom and reads 'Ministry Of Sleep' from the outside) but once you’ve made your way in, this quaint store seems so far removed from the bustling St Marks Road nearby. With all of the label’s signature merch on offer, expect to find plenty of handcrafted textiles in lovely block prints and even embroidered pieces. From table and bed linens to comfy cotton kurtas, nightwear and kid’s wear (that hangs off a tree branch in the store) the store reflects the artsy vibe the brand is known for.

Their collection of cushions is worth checking out, with embroidered options and some floral numbers too {and they’ve got floor cushions too}. The 49-year-old brand sources its products directly from local craftsmen (or so they claim) in a bid to preserve the local arts and crafts scene by giving them a contemporary twist with fun patterns and bright colours. From dyeing, printing, quilting and applique, find textiles with intricate work on them. Prices start at INR 500.
