12th Main Indiranagar can be a serious problem for anyone who's got a spontaneous shopping habit. So when The Shop opened up, guess who showed up promptly, picked up two printed shirts, a ceramic mug, a book, and a small decorative piece but then put back a few items, and then contemplated about picking another shirt, and finally left The Shop with two men's shirt and two bookmarks? This writer did. That's The Shop for you in a nutshell—you want to pick up pretty much everything. The Delhi-based brand's first store in Bangalore is in Indiranagar's happening lane and they have everything—apparel for women, kids, and men, tableware, bedding, home decor, jewellery, accessories, and toys.
All the products feature beautiful prints—think florals, animals, geometric, and classic Indian motifs. We love the tableware section of course—spotted a whole lot of mugs, cups, bowls, and even some really cool ceramicware from Atelier Lalmitti. Apart from this, we were drawn towards the men's section, which had the loveliest collection of printed shirts. We picked up two obviously. The women's section has kurtas, dresses, tops, and even nightwear. The home decor section is filled with bedding, cushion covers, runners, tablecloths, and mats.
Honestly, there's a lot you can discover at the store, which is why we are going back as soon as possible.
