We spotted The Wearhouse, an old-school apparel chain, just at the beginning of Commercial Street (towards Tasker Town), a no-nonsense store with a few mannequins wearing checkered shirts and jeans. Yup, you thought they’d shut down right? Nope! Formal shirts along with jeans are neatly stacked away or hung on the ground floor. The formal shirts come in either full-sleeved and half-sleeved options and in solid colours such as blue, yellow, black, and plenty of whites. There’s a whole line of just plain white shirts. A few micro checks and stripes are amongst the collection. These start at INR 599.

On the first floor, the entire collection of shirts are semi-formal or even casual with a few sporting  doodles and designs; perfect for Friday casuals at work. Full-sleeved shirts reign supreme here with a limited collection of half-sleeved checkered shirts and shirts in colours such as pink, candy yellow, and lime green. We spotted a whole lot of comfy, light coloured shorts that are brunch-ready as well as beach ready. Pick up these for INR 499 upwards. Trousers and jeans start at INR 699. Pick from grey, blue or black jeans and trousers are more of the chinos kind but there’s a limited collection of khakis and blacks.
