Narratives inspired by cities is the focus at this festival. The three-day event will have readings, author interactions and panel discussions, all based on books, writings and observations of the urban landscape.

Silly Point
Described as India's first cricket-based stand-up comedy show, the performance, hosted by RajaSekhar Mamidanna, will feature comedians, Rohit Swain and Hriday Ranjan. Jokes about the country's favourite game (and about cricket fans, of course) are what you can expect to crack you up.

Chalk Lettering Workshop

Shakespeare in the Park: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Fancy watching a play in a park? That's just what you can look forward to at this event by the city-based group, Bardolators of Bangalore. With two performances lined up (to take place inside a bamboo grove in the park, apparently), the show will be an unusual take on Shakespeare's romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Mad Decent Block Party - Major Lazer
The popular US-based multi-city concert series, Mad Decent Block Party, is all set to head to India for the first time. And, this includes a show in Bangalore, with a headlining act by Major Lazer! Along with performances by Gorgon City (a London-based garage duo), Big Gigantic (a Colorado-based livetronica/hip hop band) and Giraffage (an electronic music producer from San Francisco).
