Guess what I discovered yesterday. Well, I found this hidden gem in Whitefield which is a perfect place for a date, a family brunch, or even a meal with friends. I visited ‘A lot like crepes’ café in Whitefield and instantly fell in love with the place. It’s got a rustic feel to it. I love the outdoor seating amidst the trees or even the cozy indoor space next to the fireplace. You may encounter mosquitoes if seated outside but they have kept repellants and other devices to ward them off. Let nothing deter you from enjoying the experience.

Now coming to the main part, the food of course

I tried the following:

1.Orange Virgin Mojito – One of the best mocktails I have had in ages. I loved the way the flavours were infused together. It was refreshing to say the least.

2.Mushroom Spinach Savoury Crepe – If you love the combination of mushroom and spinach, order this without a second thought. I personally loved the taste and the creaminess. Served with hand-cut crispy French fries and a garlic dip which is heavenly.

3.Veg Pockets – This is again a must-try. The filling was delicious. I loved the wedges and the veggies served with it.

4.Vegan Breakfast platter – Why should non-vegetarians have all the fun? Well, on a serious note, all-vegan lovers will relish this platter which has generous portions. The hash browns are crispy. I thoroughly enjoyed the sausage made of soy and veggies. The scrambled eggs were replaced with scrambled tofu. The baked beans is a delight too. Overall it’s a protein-packed meal which is worth the buck.

5.Strawberry Nutella Crepe – This is a delicious crepe which has Nutella and the goodness of fresh strawberries. Presentation and the taste both take the cake.

6.Cheesecake in a jar – Tried blueberry, strawberry and Oreo flavours; all of them tasted great

The service is good. Everything is made fresh to order so it may take a bit longer than usual but it’s totally worth the wait.

They have a fabulous weekend brunch buffet so do check that out. The veg version is priced at 399 and non-veg at 499 so can’t beat the price either.

Overall verdict – Must visit
