Winning For

The laid-back vibes that set the tone for your weekend shenanigans, the music that’s surely going to get you dancing even if you don’t know how to, and the finger food that goes well with the booze.

Lowdown On The Ambience

Quirky interiors and eclectic ambience, Safe House is just the right addition that the neighbourhood needed. Dim lights, commercial music, good DJs, and a vibrant and energetic young crowd who are either partying away their blues or having chill scenes are what welcomes you on weekends. Weekdays are usually quite with people either lazing around on the comfy couches or playing a game of snooker by the pool table. The space also features quirky decor such as cycle rims for lights, a DJ table with a radio facade, and cityscape murals here and there.

For Safe Keeping

Safe House comes with a full bar with reasonably priced drinks and a food menu that focuses on finger food and classic bar fare such as Onion Rings, Wings, Fries, Nachos, and the good old Peanut Masala. We settled for nachos, Thai Fry Baby Corn, and Crispy Devil’s Chicken along with a couple of Kingfishers and a Lemon Blueberry Colada mocktail {yes, we have such people in the #LBBCrew}. The kitchen played it quite safe {no pun intended} with the starters, with Crispy Devil’s Chicken deserving a major shoutout for its rather spicy flavour and juiciness that we couldn’t get enough of.

The drinks here, the cocktails especially, are your usual fare with everything from a classic Margherita to the gentlemen’s drink The Martini, that you could probably order like James Bond, “Shaken, not stirred.”

So, We'e Thinking...

The menu does have a lot of mains, but honestly given how usually Friday night scenes end, we suggest you stick with finger foods that are served faster than you can say, “Copacabana!”
