Theatre Gets Even More Dramatic With These Three Plays At Ranga Shankara

What Is It?

This weekend, skip the clubs and head off to these three unconventional performances that add a bit of a twist to theatre. White Rabbit Red Rabbit, performed by Pritham Kumar and Blank, performed by Vivek Madan, do not follow the traditional structure and flow of theatre but delve into the art of live theatre, audience involvement and improvisational theatre. To add to the romance of the theatre, the play Wildtrack will be performed on Sunday, bringing with it, a romantic touch and a drop of loss.

Who Is It For?

Well, theatre is meant for all. If you’re a theatre enthusiast, home maker, student or just sitting on your couch wondering what to do, head on over! However the shows do have an age restriction due to the content being portrayed. White Rabbit Red Rabbit is fine for those above 16 years, Blank for anyone over 12 years and Wildtrack is strictly for adults.

Why Should I Go For This?

For the novelty the three plays bring, is why you should go. White Rabbit Red Rabbit is a product of live theatre with no director, no rehearsals and no sets. The author is handed a sealed envelope just before he/she walks onto the stage. Crazy right? Well, every show also has a different actor; no actor ever performs this play twice. On the other hand in Blank, the audience plays an integral role in filling the gaps in the story to complete the story. It’s not everyday that people recreate an art form and turn it into something new and edgy. So don’t even think twice before booking your tickets to watch these performances.
