If you are looking for a one-stop shop to pick up everything from home decor to apparel that is crafted by artisans from around the country, simply browse through Tvami's website. The women-led social enterprise works with small and marginalised artisans across the length and breadth of the country. What's interesting when we browsed through Tvami's website is the curation — various traditional crafts from East, West, South, North, and Central. Think Bagru block printed sarees to the jewellery from Bidri.
Our favourite sections are the decor and kitchen & dining ones. In the decor section, you can pick up handcrafted pieces such as storage boxes, door stoppers, marble plates and jewellery boxes inlaid with stones, figurines, brass lamps, and table clocks. The marble inlay is Parchin Kari craft if you are wondering. In the kitchen & dining section, we're adding the Udayagiri wooden cutlery and serveware range to our cart.
If you are planning on picking up some handlooms, then there's a whole collection — Jamdani cotton sarees, Kota sarees, Ikkal sarees, Pochampally sarees, and Phulia sarees.
