What Makes It Awesome

Started in 2022 by makeup blogger Kairavi Bharat Ram, Typsy Beauty was born because the founder wanted playful, bold palettes that are of high quality and at the “perfect state of fun”. Curated and sourced from around the world, all their makeup options are formulated for the Indian skin tone, regardless of your gender.

We tried Sip Sip Hooray and the Pop, Fizz, Clink Champagne eyeshadow palettes (INR 2,200), the double-shot eyeliner (INR 950) and false eyelashes (something we've not seen from too many Indian brands). The palettes come with 12 shades that include matte, shimmer, and glitter (large flakes) options allowing you to create vibrant holographic looks if you please. Bold - bright, muted, matte, metallic, darker shades, peachy light ones, they have it all. Bold not only in the colours, these folks don’t shy away from large boxes instead of those mini options that will get lost on your dressing table. The powder shadows, to our happiness, are not flaky, and while they seem quite light and dusty, they stick on a long while, and even the lighter shades last long. Naturally, the darker shades like black and blue stayed on an entire day. A few colours don’t show on the skin as they do on the palette, so give all a try to see how it looks on your skin tone before freely using it.

The eyeliner is two for one with both a liquid pen option and a stick option, both of which glide beautifully. Long-lasting (up to 24  hours by our experience) and highly pigmented, it’s also water-resistant. The lashes need glue, and if cared for properly can last for up to 20 uses.

Pro-Tip

On their website, you can choose to buy the products individually or by look. They also have a range of mini-lipsticks that are available in sets of two.
