If you want to make this weekend (and the ones to follow) to be proper lit, you’ve got to join this session on cocktail mixing. Join Anand Virmani, who is the co-founder of Nao Spirits & Beverages which is the company behind India’s first homegrown gin, Greater Than, and the more Indian dry gin, Hapusa. All you need to do is sign up for this session, gather a few ingredients listed below, and be ready to shake or stir some cocktails at home!
You’ll need:
Ice: Approximately three trays of ice cubes.
Shaker: Any broad mouth jar or water bottle
3 glasses - Wine or Whisky glasses
Knife
Peeler (optional)
Lemon squeezer (optional)
Chopping board
1 chopstick (optional)
1 spoon
You will also need at least ONE of these ingredients from EACH section. Feel free to keep more on standby if you have it at home! Anand encourages you to get as many ingredients as you can but most things are replaceable as well. So pick at least one from each category. Gin is fully crucial, and ice cream too!
Gin - Greater Than
Ice Cream - Vanilla
Sweet - Sugar / Honey / Jaggery / Jam / random liqueurs or syrups in your bar / sweet Vermouth
Sour - Lemon
Bitter - Campari / Aperol / Amaro / Angostura Bitters / Strong brewed coffee or tea (cooled)
Sparkling - Tonic / Soda / Sparkling Wine
Fresh - Orange / Mint
