Let's face it. We all need a Lady Whistledown (Bridgerton reference in case you're living under a rock) who would tell us EXACTLY what celebrities, influencers, founders, movers and shakers have in their little black book. We chatted with Varun Duggirala, who says he's an "accidental entrepreneur turned full-time content creator & podcaster". The co-founder of The Glitch, the country's largest digital-first creative agency, we're skipping his amazing podcasts and business intel this time around, to get into his personal space! We already see coffee and tea on the list! Read on to find out what Varun Duggirala's favourite things are!
A Few Of Varun Duggirala's Favourite Things
Vedic Kadha By Vahdam Teas
This was a pandemic discovery for me and it’s become my daily driver to replace caffeine post 4pm (I’ve tried to cut down caffeine post 4 to improve the quality of my sleep in recent months). The kadha has an elegant punch that doesn’t just taste great but feels like an exfoliator for my throat which honestly suffers from “ why does this guy talk so much” issues.
Timex Q Reissue 1979
I’ve been going down the rabbit role of analogue watches in recent times and it started with me buying this reissue of a classic 70’s design by timex. It’s got a beautiful vintage yet cool vibe to it and that Pepsi dial is just ♥️.
Kiehl's Age Defender Power Serum
I’m a few months away from turning 40 and I’ve consciously been looking at changing the products I’ve been using (I call it a personal care mid-life issue) and I came across this serum by Kiehls. It’s just the kind of lightweight serum I like and more than anything it leaves my face feeling awesome (did someone say awesome at 40!).
Brown Butter Pineapple Cookie Box
This is my favourite guilty pleasure. When I have that occasional (I mean regular) sweet craving this throwback to the pineapple cakes of my childhood always hits the right spot.
Kraft Cover Notebooks From Factor Notes
I’m a scribbler and I need to carry a notebook with me at all times and this is the perfect size and texture for a scribble book (plus the dot grid on the cover is just classic).
King Gillette Beard Oil
My beard is one of those things I’ve created a regime for across maintenance, care and the occasional indulgence. The King Gillette beard oil has been one of the best beard oils I’ve used in recent years. Light, not greasy and classic fragrance.
Biotin Gummies By Man Matters
I sampled these on a whim and now they’re a part of my daily nutritional fix. I also occasionally use the ashwagandha and apple cider vinegar gummies as well. Not a bad way to get some essentials into your system at all.
Marvahulla Estate - Dark Roast Coffee By KC Roasters
I like my coffee in small doses of well made espresso and I love brewing it in different styles (espresso machine, Moka Pot, etc) … I also sample a lot of varieties of coffee to brew that perfect cup of coffee. The Dark Roast from Marvahulla estate by KC Roasters is just all kinds of amazing flavours in a lovely dark roast.
Svami Drinks Salted Lemonade
Perfect old school salted lemonade for the summer and to mix with that dash (more than a dash) of tequila for a wind down on the weekend.
Classic Crew By March Tee
March Tee makes the best t-shirts period. From the fit to the material to pretty much everything… it’s my (almost) daily go to. They also make great sleep t-shirts and pyjamas .
