We love that Vembanad goes the extra mile to make you feel like you might actually be in Kerala. Think wood-carved ceiling, special decor for the festival and even the staff in traditional apparel. Add to that authentic food from the state, and you couldn’t ask for a better way to spend this Onam {unless it’s in Kerala, of course}. Expect a plantain leaf replete will almost 28 dishes, which includes an array of sides to be had with two varieties of rice {red rice and basmati rice}, and four kinds of payasams too.
