Parasailing Or Microlight Flights, These Guys Will Make Sure You Get High
Shortcut
Fly By
Always wanted to swoosh in dramatically like the Indian Air Force on Independence Day, to make a solid entrance? Yes, us too. But while we can’t quite do nosedives in a Tejas, we did the next best thing. We went microflight flying! It’s a shorter flight that we’d hoped for, but rest assured that the 10-minutes you’re airborne will certainly be worth it.
After a brief on the aircraft, safety measures and tips, you’ll hop into the craft. And you’ll take the spot of the…wait for it…the co-pilot! In all the glory of an actual pilot, you’ll even get to feel the controls. Since it’s a microlight plane, you’ll hover not too far off the ground, but high enough to get a view of Bangalore like never before. On a clear day, UB City, Vidhan Soudha, Kempegowda International Airport, Nandi Hills and the Petronas Tower look-alike are all part of the picturesque skyline. Suddenly, Bangalore is beautiful.
Take Off
For those looking to pop the question, or just be a tad more romantic than sharing an ice cream, they have a 20-minute ride in a four-seater aircraft. Cruise over the city at about 700-metres above the ground. Not just limited to coochie-cooing couples, this one is great for airplane enthusiasts too. Adrenalin rush required? Simply sign up for their parasailing session which we’ve raved about already here.
Hands On
Those who want to do more than just ride a craft there’s aeromodelling workshops too. Whether you want to take it up as a sport or just a hobby, design, construction and flying of model airplanes, helicopters and rockets will be part of the agenda. Looking to rent out drones for photography or feeling like splurging on a helicopter tour? They’ve got you covered.
