History buffs! Spend your Sunday following the trail of the tiger of Mysore, and explore the beautiful monuments built by the 18th century ruler. Hosted by Bengaluru By Foot, the 3-hour walk will begin with a visit to a mausoleum of a nobleman associated with Tipu Sultan. You'll also get to go to Bangalore Fort on KR Road, and learn about its evolution through the centuries, its defences and the stories of its prisoners. Step into the royal durbar of Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace in Chamrajpet and find out why he was so obsessed with the tiger. At the end of the tour, you will visit his armoury, where his rocket technology was found to be in working condition, across the erstwhile territory of Mysore Kingdom, 60 years after his death!
