You can now order a plate of Cheezling Bhel with your mug of beer as everyone’s favourite pub, Watsons, is stepping up its game with a whole new menu.

Watson’s pub is keeping things fresh with a new menu of food to go along with their alcohol. The thought came about when Watsons decided to upgrade their pub grub and make things a bit more interesting for their loyal patrons. The revised menu has tried to incorporate Indian elements into the pub’s regular crowd pleasers. 

We started off with the ingenious Cheezling Bhel. The humble Cheezling was given a spicy, tangy twist and we absolutely loved it. Then we moved on to the crispy Nethili Fish Fry, which is a must try and goes really well with beer. We also recommend the Pork Kosha {a Bengali meets Coorg fusion} that’s flavourful and tender to the Andhra Gun Powder Chicken Wings that hits all the right spots. This Indian twist extends to a couple of new cocktails as well, like the Rasam-Ma and the Kokum-Mo. You can also pick from curries such as the Vendakai Mor Kozhambu {okra cooked in a yoghurt based curry, Kerala style}, and the Tibetan Thukpa served with a vegetable broth, chicken, noodles and finished with a fried egg.

A New Bakery In Town

You heard it here first! Watson’s is opening a baked goods section. Just when you thought your regular hangout couldnt get any sweeter, Watsons has now opened a bakery. From chocolate frosted cupcakes to toffee walnut pies, satisfy the alcoholic and the chocoholic in you at one go.
