Strisvara
Fusion music is what you can expect at this gig, and how! Described as a celebration of women and music, Strisvara brings together Indian urban and tribal artistes along with their international counterparts. Coming to town after a 13-day residential program in BR Hills {in Karnataka}, this is the first exclusive performance by the group. Apart from Spanish musician, Sara Illana and Swedish artistes, Larisa Ljungkrona and Maja Swedén, the show will also include urban artistes from the country like Kalyaani Sakkarwal {Mumbai} and Amrapali Shinde {from Bangalore}. Adding their own musical style to the mix will be tribal artistes, Padma, Kavya and Uma, among others.

Israeli Film Festival
Go and binge on movies this weekend. Bringing together 10 films from the Middle Eastern country, the third edition of their Israeli Film Festival has screenings across two different venues. Keep an eye out for the award-winning romantic comedy by Julie Shles, Afula Express {also known as Pick A Card} as well as The Matchmaker which is a bittersweet comedy that blends history and romance. Bengaluru International Arts Festival
From dance ensembles to a saxophone concert, the last weekend of the Bengaluru International Arts Festival {9th edition} has quite a lot for the arts and music enthusiasts among you. While city-based group, Abhijata Dance Ensemble's Hari Hara blends Kathak and Bharatanatyam, Rama Vaidyanathan takes over the stage with her expert and graceful movements in Bharatanatyam. A performance that explores Buddhist monuments through dance, and a saxophone concert are also part of the schedule for the weekend. Read more about it here.
