We went for one day stay, it was 1 ½ hour bike drive with minimal traffic from our home, took Mysore expressway > Kanakapura road > a typical outer town and residence mixed up area leading to a deserted area with Agricultural fields on both sides, then beautiful resort shows up with cool breeze around.(google map was good in this case)
Warm welcome gateway with bamboos and mud plastered ceiling; a long-cave themed tunnel takes us to the domed-amphitheater focusing a pool with artificial water falls, seaters around the amphitheater was quite interesting(social distancing easily achieved) we booked for a lithic room balcony attached. A COMPLETE CAVE RESORT FEEL THEN AND THERE,we went for a walk around the resort; DJ was playing in amphitheater; indoor games and outdoor activities in large lawn were happening on other block ; the shift of spaces and the experience in each space were refreshing; rain dance was part of package ;lush greens was a treat to eyes ; temperature was very cool and sun was having some mood swings ; that night there was heavy rain which made the stay even more beautiful.
Breakfast buffet was included in our package,we had it the next day – south Indian food was top-notch loved the sambar(not Bangalore style) and vadai ; morning tea was not satisfying; checked out around 12pm and drove back to city ! Went without expectations and soulfully enjoyed the theme-resort’s ambience, decent hospitality ; definitely a space to visit and experience.
