Young Creators' Den or YCD as it is popularly called is a hobby and cultural space for kids that is located on a beautiful cul de sac in Ashok Nagar. It is based on the idea that kids learn through fun and not through competition. Hosting a variety of activities for children of all ages (and, some for adults as well), YCD also has a lending library of carefully curated books.
Amongst others, they have chess classes, Sanskrit classes, music, dance & movement, theatre, craft, a math lab, an English lab and classes to help kids understand finance.
For adults, they also conduct weekly sessions called Discovery where people gather to introspect and broaden their horizons in the personal and interpersonal realm.
Offering classes all through the week, it is run by a sweet lady called Vasantha Kumari, lovingly called Vasantha Aunty by all, who has various facilitators come in for different classes.
