Whisk'd away is founded and run by the whole, and sole owner Natalie (one-woman baking army) is one of the best dessert startups I have come across. Working in the airline industry, she loved exquisite desserts and soon decided to strike out on her own, aiming to replicate the exceptionally indulgent flavours she would come to love. Since she started last December, she has burgeoned into an excellent baker; experimenting with ingredients and flavours. In this short span, she has created beautiful rich products which are appetizing and worth indulging oneself in. She started with some fantastic Belgian chunks cookies, which are rich in flavour and so delicious to eat. Oreo cheesecake cookies and Pecan brown butter cookies are other unique options available. They even have eggless cookies to indulge in those pleasant flavours. The Brownies are the fudgiest I had, crisp and crackly on top and the centre is super fudgy, chewy and gooey. The peanut butter filling in the brownie was smooth and creamy. Her Red Velvet Cheesecake brownies have to be the best among the batch of gustatory delight. The sui generis "Basque Burnt Cheesecake" is a crustless cheesecake with elegantly caramelized exterior and uber smooth, creamy interior. It challenges the whole concept of the perfect baked cheesecake. I am in love with her products and cute, fancy packaging. It feels so good to cheat on my diet when desserts are awesome.
