I will admit one thing. I have a fair number of earphones as I have a bad habit of leaving earphones behind. So my handbag, my desktop, my gym bag, my laptop and my office space, all have different earphones and headphones. Thus, while I may not be an expert, I know the ALOT about earphones! I also looked to my colleagues for their recommendations so you'll find a mix of earphones that are all about battery life, some about the bass, others that are just inexpensive (for the one who leave it on the bus, metro, desk) and a few for their all-round awesomeness. Here is our pick of (mostly) tried-and-tested wireless headphones and earphones under INR 3,000, regular price, not discounted.
The Best 7 Wireless Earphones Under INR 3,000 To Untangle Your Life Forever!
boAt Airdopes 121v2 in-Ear True Wireless Earbuds
A tried-and-tested product (she's had it for close to a year now), Diana from the LBB crew got her hands on the boAt airdopes 121v2 while on the search for an affordable but good pair of wireless earphones. 'What I like most about these is the battery, it feels like it lasts for days on end without dying on me as soon as I pop it into my ear. The bass is average, so I wouldn't suggest this to someone who's on the lookout for good bass, but to someone who wants to add a hassle-free wireless good pair of earphones to their life with a stellar battery life. The body doesn't feel plastic-y even though it is super lightweight. However, the mic is not very effective. It comes with a couple of ear plug sizes along with multifunction buttons, one year warranty and voice assistant, all in all a good budget buy, which is also always on sale!'

pTron Avento Classic BT5.0 Deep Bass Wireless Earphones
pTron as a brand is known for their good-quality audio options, and this deep bass wireless ones seem to live up to those expectations while also being super budget friendly. They come with a seamless 10 m Bluetooth connectivity, a convenient magnetic lock when not in use, 3.5 hours music playback and a comfy in-ear fit. They also claim to provide pure stereo sound audio and clear vocals for an amazing listening experience, along with a passive noise-cancelling feature.

Sony WI-C200 Wireless In-ear Headphones
Using Bluetooth, and lasting up to about 12 hours of use per full charge, these in-ear headphones are lightweight and fuss free. I used these for a while and found them great for working at a laptop or to connect to a smart TV. They’re also great for exercise, as long as you don’t jump around too much. So, yes for gym, but not for CrossFit!

Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones Basic
My current favourite not only because it’s an easy enough INR 1,799 on full price, but also it’s sweat, rain and water proof to a large degree. No, you can’t go swimming with it, but it’s least delicate when compared to other high-flying brands that went caput in the rain! It is light, and fits snugly in the ear, making it great for outdoor activities as well. It has successfully withstood running, CrossFit, climbing, and only once fell out during a Zumba session. It’s also very clear on calls, and has no echo.

JBL TUNE 160BT
These wireless in-ear headphones have been used by a colleague of mine, Saniya, and she loves it. She’s quite active, so she also uses it when running and has no complaints. Sound quality is great, and it even plays bass really well. I have also seen her drop it, and it has survived through it all. The best part, apart from sound and price, is that it has magnetic wires, meaning it doesn't tangle when you wear it, but have not got it plugged in.

pTron Bassbuds in-Ear True Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
While I haven’t used these, my colleague Sreepathy uses them as a spare and extra just because it is an easy INR 999 (originally INR 2,499). He says the pTron’s in-ear pods look cool enough, and work for quick calls and music for a while, but the Bluetooth range is just 10 m, so not very practical at the office. Being highly budget oriented, it is also quite flimsy—from the dock to the pods themselves.

Mi Super Bass Wireless Headphones Red
Mi features twice on this list simply due to price! These ones are meant to be both wireless and wired headphones with a proper cushioning if you wear it for extended periods of time. Apparently, it’s bass sound quality is top-notch, and battery life is an easy 20 hours. It also has voice assistance so you can seamlessly switch from music to a call and back.

Skullcandy Ink'd Wireless
My colleague Vaibhav has been using these (until he recently destroyed them) and he recommends them. The money feature is the bass of the earphones, and the in-ear design really helps to get the best out of the bass. It has a simple three button function where you can receive calls, control the volume and toggle between songs.

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z
These ones are for people on the go, and also those who need many features but on a budget. These earphones can be fully charged in just 10 minutes, and according to aforementioned earphone pro, Vaibhav, you can listen to music or talk for a long while. Up to 10 hours, he says, thanks to the Warp Charge Technology, which is the ultra-fast charging tech, by OnePlus. The wireless pods have easy controls too, so you can easily switch between music, calls and back again.
