I will admit one thing. I have a fair number of earphones as I have a bad habit of leaving earphones behind. So my handbag, my desktop, my gym bag, my laptop and my office space, all have different earphones and headphones, so I may not be an expert, but I know the functional nature of headphones! So be it sleek but simple ones at INR 600 to INR 2,999 for that extra bass and coolness, here is our pick of (mostly) tried and tested wireless headphones and earphones under INR 3,000, regular price, and not discounted.
These Wireless Earphones Under INR 3,000 Will Untangle Your Life Forever!
Sony WI-C200 Wireless In-ear Headphones
Using Bluetooth, and lasting up to about 12 hours of use per full charge, these in-ear headphones are lightweight and fuss free. I used these for a while, and found them great for working at a laptop, or to connect to a smart TV. They’re also great for exercise, as long as you don’t jump around too much. So, yes for gym, but not for CrossFit!

JBL TUNE 160BT
These wireless in-ear headphones have been used by a colleague of mine, and she loves it. She’s quite active, so she also uses it when running and has no complaints. Sound quality is great, and it even plays bass really well. I have also seen her drop it, and it has survived very well through it all. The best part, apart from sound and price, is that it has magnetic wires, meaning it doesn't tangle when you wear it, but have not got it plugged in.

Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones Basic
My current favourite not only because it’s an easy enough INR 1,799 on full price, but also it’s sweat, rain and water proof to a large degree. No, you can’t go swimming with it, but it’s least delicate when compared to other high flying brands that went caput in the rain! It is light, and fits snugly in the ear, making it great for outdoor activities as well. It has successfully withstood running, CrossFit, climbing, and only once fell out during a Zumba session. It’s also very clear on calls, and has no echo.

pTron Bassbuds in-Ear True Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
I haven’t used these, but for an easy INR 999 (originally INR 2,499), Indian brandpTron’s, in-ear pods seem super cool. They’re apparently great for hands free calls, and to even change music, and at the price, it seems like a real steal. The range is just 10m making it a bit short if you like to move far from your Bluetooth device. Being highly budget oriented, it seems flimsy we hear, and the dock and the pods themselves are quite fragile.
Price: INR 2,499 (currently INR 999)
Mi Super Bass Wireless Headphones Red
Mi features twice on this list simply due to price! These ones are meant to be both wireless, and wired headphone with a proper cushioning if you wear it for extended periods of time. Apparently, it’s bass sound quality is top-notch, and battery life is an easy 20 hours. It also has voice assistance so you can seamlessly switch from music to a call and back.
Price: INR 2,199 (currently on discount)
Skullcandy Ink'd Wireless
My colleague Vaibhav has been using these (until he recently destroyed) and he recommends them. The money feature is the bass of the earphones, and the in-ear design really helps to get the best out of the bass. It has a simple three button function where you can receive calls, control the volume and toggle between songs.
Price: INR 2,799
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z
These ones are for people on the go, and also those who need many features, but on a budget. These earphones can be charged up in just 10 minutes, and according to afore mentioned earphone pro, Vaibhav, you can listen to music or talk for a long while. Up to ten hours, he says, thanks to the Warp Charge Technology that us ultra fast charging tech, by OnePlus. The wireless pods have easy controls too, so you can easily switch between music, calls and back again.
