Being a health freak, and someone who counts the calories before I eat, its really difficult to enjoy guilt-free dining out. But not in this place. Fitofaga, located in HSR, serves the healthiest of food, without compromising with the taste! Certainly a healthy twist to your favourite foods.
The place is small, cute and cosy and well decorated with greens and lights. Although vegetarian, but they make sure that even your protein intake is optimum with their menu.
Tried their Spouts and Veggie salad, and it had the healthiest of salad dressing, with olive oil. Termed as a superfood, quinoa, their vegan quinoa salad was fascinating as well.
For starters, we tried Vegan soya tikki, and it had a smooth blend of nutrients and it was soulful once it melts in the mouth. Their Ramen soup was great too and even the honey garlic tofu. The tofu is prepared in house, making it healthier. Next, we tried Bumblebee stew, rice served with a proteinaceous mix of beans and corns in veg broth, penne pasta, pasta made in spinach and pente protein.
The desserts are healthy too. You can have it without guilt. Coconut and oats ball and cottage cheese pudding were absolutely amazing and perfect finisher.
