Nav Chaitanya is undoubtedly the best place for seafood. Everything here is too tasty and very fresh. I highly recommend this place for all the Mumbaikars. Was here to try out their Malvani food.
Started with:
Prawns fry: medium-sized, Rava fried, crispy & yummilicious.
Surmai fish: I don't really like fish, but this fish starter was the best. Rava fried kingfish perfectly cooked.
Kothimbir wadi: famous Maharashtrian snack made of besan & coriander leaves. Served with tamarind chutney.
Prawns Biryani: I've never had prawns Biryani hence decided to go with this. Trust me, you will be amazed. It is finger-licking good.
The Prawns thali is the best. It consists of fried Prawns, Masala bhujna, jawala kismoor, fish curry, Solkadhi, prawns rice & Jowar Bhakri. (Recommend thali)
Crab masala: my first time having crab, it was fresh and good. My friend loved it.
I totally loved everything about this place. Coming here back soon. It's a fine dining place. Pretty huge, wooden finish. I like how the entrance to this place gives a temple feel than a restaurant. It gives the authentic feel of Maharashtra. They have displayed a couple of copper utensils and some photographs showcasing the Malavan times. It's full most of the time, But due to super fast service, it doesn't take a long time to get a table.
Though the service is quick, the food is fresh & hot.
