Finding authentic cuisine is always a challenge and Samrajya has nailed this one so brilliantly. Curating lip-smacking dishes throughout Maharashtra, keeping in the theme completed with the pagdi's and seating.
Coming to the food, right from the Sabudana had a to the crunchies, everything was made from scratch and with ingredients that were brought in from the state. Really loved the Vada pav, Misal pav which was the right amount of spicy. In non-veg, my favourite was the Prawns, Bhangda fry and succulently cooked mutton, happy that not even once the spices overpowered the food.
We also tried put few thaali's- special mention to the mutton thali that had a different kind of roasted Coconut Masala which have it a Smokey taste.
Ended with delicious Puran Poli- too good it was.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
