When Dumbledore said, " Ah, music, a magic beyond all we do here!" , we felt that. Music single-handedly has the power to take you back in time, make you relive your fondest memories, elevate your mood, connect you to certain places and people. While Spotify's AI is pretty cool when it comes to the Daily Mixes they curate for each user based on their search history, there are some playlists which you should try out even if you like to stick to a particular genre. And since we strongly believe that all good things must be shared, here's a list of the best Spotify playlists you can listen to. Get your headphones ready and turn up the volume!

All Out 10s By Spotify

All Out 10s By Spotify

One of Spotify's playlists, this one is a true headbanger for all those who like a healthy mix of slow hip-hop, EDM and R&B. All Out 10s has a wide variety of artists from different genres like Dennis Lloyd, Adele, Majid Jordan, Drake, Sam Smith, Rihanna, Dua Lipa, James Blake, Calum Scott and more. It also features some leading bands like Kodaline, Maroon 5, Clean Bandit, X Ambassadors, Two Door Cinema Club and more. This 6-hour playlist may have some skips but in all, you wouldn't constantly have to worry about changing the songs frequently.

90s Metal Classic

90s Metal Classic

Metalheads, here's a playlist for you. While many think of metal music as noise, it's WAY more than that. It only takes some time to get accustomed to the heavy beats. This genre of rock music came into existence way back and has successfully gained a separate fandom. Suggested by one of the fellow LBB folks, this playlist by Spotify has songs by top metal bands like Metallica, Meshuggah, Exodus, Slayer, Slipknot, and more. If you're starting out we'd suggest you try with soft rock first and then move on to the heavier stuff.

Fly Me To The Moon - Leanne April

Fly Me To The Moon - Leanne April

Of old vinyl and LP records - this playlist always transports me back to when I was a kid with soft, mellow music playing at the back. This two-hour playlist features classic old music by the much-celebrated artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Sam Cooke and more. Trust me when I say this, this playlist is more than just the good 'ol Fly Me To The Moon. This makes for a perfect playlist when you're in a mood to relax and want to enjoy a quiet evening sipping by yourself.

Blues Classics

Blues Classics

One of my personal favourites, this is one of the many playlists curated by Spotify. Blues has evolved over the decades but it never went out of style. The genre's resurrection has been pretty welcoming especially when people are ready to dive into the trend of throwbacks even more. This particular playlist contains absolutely groovy music by artists like B.B. King, Etta James, Earl Hooker, Johnny Winter, Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert Collins and other brilliant ones. This one is for when you're in the mood for some cooking, rearranging your closet or simply sitting after a taxing day of work and sipping that glass of Merlot.

Old Hindi Songs (70's and 80's)

Old Hindi Songs (70's and 80's)

This is that one playlist (suggestion by yet another one of the LBB folks) you need to keep handy for when you're parents are around. Or simply if you're an old soul who wants to let the good times roll, this is your solace. Classic Hindi songs by highly celebrated artists like Kishore Kumar, R.D. Burman, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Mohhamed Rafi, Amit Kumar, will surely take you on a nostalgic journey with your family. It's a gigantic playlist and you wouldn't have look any further for old Hindi songs.

Curt & Rod

Curt & Rod

Hopping between different genres, artists and timelines is something we enjoy doing. Out the many playlists in our personal collection, we've decided to share this. This list is not dominated by any particular genre, rather is a collection of classic hip-hop, R&B and a bit of everything - from Pink Floyd to Roddy Ricch with Rhye, UB40, Chris De Burgh, Phil Collins, alt-J and tons more. If you plan to stick around with it a little longer then you might just see new additions to this one.

2000s Hits

2000s Hits

Doing absolute justice to the title of the playlist, this one takes me back to my school days. Throwback to when *NSYNC was a thing and JT had blonde hair. Days when used to jam recklessly on Sean Kingston, Shakira, JLo, Britney Spears, Kings of Leon - you get the gist, right? This 5-hour playlist will transport you to the carefree days when we used to swear by bands like Foster The People, The Script, Train and the likes.
