The hanging cane swings that double up as chairs, the casual vibe, the in-house baked goods and the genuinely caring customer service are on top of the list. Not far behind are the delish desserts and the hearty pastas.

Oh, they know what they are doing when it comes to the mood setting. Spread across two floors, Cafe Medley projects a beachy, shack-like vibe. Chairs and tables in bright pops of colour, cane swings that double up as cozy chairs, and really carefree vibe make this place a heavy draw, especially for those who have limited budgets, but have endless time on their hands {read students}. Non-students you are most welcome too, but get ready to elbow your way in to find a place to sit.

You need to just settle for the selection of pastas here. Their Chicken Lasagna is delicious and generously portioned, and their Pesto Chicken Pasta {topped with parmesan no less} and succulent Chicken Au Gratin are our top picks here. Then comes the sizzlers with options such as Cottage Cheese & Spinach Sizzler and Grilled Chicken Sizzler. Lovers of all things sweet, you will want to tuck into Cafe Medley’s Chocolate Croissant and cheesecakes too. Their beverages are pretty good as well – with a range of hot and cold ones {from tea and coffees to smoothies and mocktails}.

These guys know how to do cafe food and they do it with competence. Plus, we are also partial to their easygoing ambience and those cane swings. But beware! weekends might get too crowded, and you may have to wait in line to get a seat or two.
