I have been a frequent visitor of Ebony located in the Barton Center of M.G.Road. They serve Parsi, Konkan, Arcot & Nawabi cuisines with 26 years of expertise.
Recently, I visited their Whitefield branch.
Ambience: The decor looks great with subtle colours, blue walls, dark wooden furniture with both indoor & outdoor seating.
Service: Staff were very courteous and friendly. Service was quick and fast.
Food:
-Murgh Yakhni Shorba: Chicken broth infused with Kashmiri spices and enriched with Almond Milk. I never like soups, but this was the best soup I ever had.
-Dahi Ka Kebab: Melt in your mouth kebabs of Curd with a filling of Paneer and Herbs. They were soft, sweet, tangy and delicious.
-Kakori Kebab: They are soft, melt in your mouth texture and the richness of butter will make you drool for more. A must try.
-Patiala Talli Kukkad: Tandoor cooked Punjabi chicken tikkas with a crispy coating. I usually do not like chicken. But I loved this chicken dish.
-Arcot Mutton Chops: Slow Cooked Mutton Chops in a simple Arcot spice mix with a generous amount of ghee. It was delicious. The best Mutton Chops I ever had.
Desserts:
-House Special Tender Coconut Souffle: Tender Coconut flavoured soufflé sweetened with jaggery and a base of roasted grated coconut, with toppings of caramelized bananas. It was not too sweet. It was just perfect.
