When it comes to Indian cuisine, Yellow chilli always comes to the front. The amazing menu beautifully created by chef Sanjeev Kapoor from the flavours across the country treats you with the most authentic dishes.
This was my first visit to yellow chilli in Bangalore and truly have met all my expectations.
We tried the mixed non-veg platter with Bhatti prawns, Amritsari fish, chicken tandoori, everything on this platter was perfectly grilled and the flavours so well mixed up. Then we had some dahi ke kebabs made up of pure dahi, soft and fresh. One of the best I have ever had. The Chowringhee chilli chicken had the authentic taste of the streets of Kolkata, perfectly made in chilli sauce. Zaffrani kalmi kebab with saffron flavoured chicken, the juice went inside so well through the cuts in the meat.
For the main course, we tried the chef's signature dish, Shyam Savera, where smalls balls of spinach and panner are dipped in makhani gravy with some butter naan. We ended on a sweet note with a delicious Shahi Tukda, the bread was very crispy. Everything was perfection.
