Bags in cute and contemporary prints, hand dyed designs, and earth friendly too! As Flaap sources all scraps and material from tailors and fabric stores.

What Makes It Awesome

Ethical design meets functionality if you have a look at any of Flaap’s Products. As the name would suggest, they make bags, pouches, laptop sleeves, and anything with a flap. Working largely with fabric, they source them all from tailors and fabric stores, so all products are made from ‘scraps’, and excess cloth. The products are made based on the amount of cloth,  and don’t expect too many callbacks to previous pieces as they sell like hot cakes! Using thick and  thin weave cotton fabric, denim, and occasionally faux leather, Flaap fashions them into backpacks, travel kits, laptop sleeves, wallets, and the occasional pillow cover if required. The designs vary from simple colour blocking to Ikat, and bold kalamkari fabric combinations.

On occasion, you’ll find products made from funky hand printed and block printed fabric (designed in-house), again, not available once sold out. So rest assured, your piece is unique to say the least. The prices vary based on the sourced material and the product. Smaller products like the pouches and travel kits start at INR 500. Laptop sleeves start at INR 900 and sling bags start at INR 1,200. Totes start at INR 800 backpacks are INR 1600 upwards. We hear that they’ll be introducing a line of bedding products soon, so, stay tuned for more!

Pro-Tip

Their social media page is usually updated with newly sourced materials, so if you’re  really nice, they’ll do custom orders as well!
