Palada Farms is set up in the mountains of Ooty, or rather in the Nilgiris, and as you’d expect, grows fantastic vegetables minus all the pollution of the farms near cities. They’ve now started delivering fresh Ooty veggies to all us city-dwellers. While they don’t have extremely rare or exotic stuff, they have everything that’s usually needed. I usually stock up on mushrooms, broccoli, lettuces (green, Chinese and red), carrots, potatoes and spinach too. Finally, I can stop loading my car with vegetables to bring home from a weekend in Ooty!
Currently, they deliver only in hamper form. There are three options — A, B, C, that include a mix of vegetables, roots and mushroom. Depending on what you’d like, pick the best option.
