Grill Daddy is the newest addition in the busiest streets of Kormangala. It is a little hard to locate but worth a find. I visited this place for dinner. It's a small cafe and has got cosy yet quirky vibes. They offer a lot of board games for leisure.
I started with "Tangy Grilled Paneer Skewers", "Chicken Satay", and "Hummus with Pita Bread". But the showstopper for me was the "Grilled Stuffed Mushroom", inverted mushrooms topped with cheese and vegetables. I relished the "Pesto Grilled Prawns" as well, cooked to the right crisp. The sauces served here deserves the special mention, I had a mushroom sauce, pesto sauce, peanut sauce, and a lemon butter sauce, the flavours are infused very rightly. Each of them was housemade and was love at first bite for my tastebuds. This is one of the very few places offering so many vegetarian dishes as well. I shall definitely visit again for the vegetarian food and of course the amazing sauces.
For the main course, I had a "Chargrilled Okra", served with delicious ratatouille, herbed rice and mashes potatoes on the sides. And a "Grilled Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce", served with grilled vegetables, herbed rice and mashed potatoes on the side. The Lemongrass Iced tea here is refreshing as it should be. I tried a "Molten Chocolate Shake", "Banana Protein Shake", and a "Coffee Lovers Protein Shake". My favourite was the "Peanut Butter Protein Shake", the shakes here are less sweetened which makes all the difference.
I tried a "Caramelized Banana" for dessert, it was made of Kerala banana, topped with syrup with a tint of cinnamon and served with vanilla ice-cream. The prices here won't burn a hole in your pocket and the dishes served are worth it.
