Don’t lament the loss of Spiritz because it’s replacement, House of Commons, offers interesting bar nibbles that’ll complement your LIIT or chilled beer very well, but on a higher level.

Come along now. Wipe those tears Spiritz loyalists. We know it’s a real tragedy that the old-favourite shut down, but look on the bright side – there’s so much more to look forward to. With glass walls making it brighter {better?}, the quirky décor and steel bar-stools take it up a notch higher than it’s former dingy-but-lovable-self. The menu is curated to try and live up to those hunger pangs while drinking, so expect greasy stuff ranging from Mushroom Loaded Fries, Prawn Skewers with Cilantro-Mint Chutney and Fish & Chips. Plus, the option of Oriental main courses, sandwiches and burgers.

If you’re eying the place only for drinkies, then beer and Long Island Iced Tea is a good bet although they take their cocktails very seriously, we hear. We haven’t availed of these yet, but that shouldn’t stop you from checking out their Happy Hour offers of which get your free drinks on purchase of one. And LIIT at INR250 a glass! What are you waiting for?
