As you walk down Frazer Town, you can tell where Mosque Road is simply by the aroma of kebabs, simmering pots of spices, and the scent of charcoal smoke in the air. It's like a food festival, with so many stalls, hawkers, and restaurants serving what we consider to be the best kebabs in Bangalore. While the stalls and kiosks seem to be absent at the moment, here's hoping they will be back soon but nevertheless, you can enjoy the food from the iconic eateries. Rahhams Families Restaurant

Rahhams Families Restaurant has been around in Frazer Town for as long as one can remember. They have ample seating in case you want to ditch the crowds at the Mosque Road and want to enjoy a sit-down meal with your family. Try the yummiest chicken kebabs, Afghani kebabs, rolls, biryani, and phirni.

One of the popular places to visit during the iftar time, Royal Savera Restaurant is always packed. All the dishes are kept on display for you pick from! Apart from biryani and kebabs, their fried delicacies like onion samosa, mutton samosa and fried chicken are extremely popular and shouldn't be missed.

Sheeshkebab is a Persian restaurant serving authentic Iranian flavours with a fusion of Indian Awadi food since 1980. Their kebabs are everything a foodie's dreams are made of—succulent, lip-smacking and fresh. Apart from that, they also serve local favourites like ghee rice, pepper brain, Indian tikka and butter chicken roll but of course, the kalmi kebab, seekh kebabs and teetar fry seal the deal for us!

Empire

Your iftar meal will be incomplete without haleem and this is just the place to devour it! Empire was one of the first restaurants that started the tradition of putting up little booths as an extension of their outlet during Ramadan years back. Coming to the food, do try the shawarmas and the mohabbat ka sharbat in addition to the haleem.

Albert Bakery

Albert Bakery is hands down one of the most well-known food joints in the area. People travel across Bangalore just to try the specialties that this century-old place serves during Ramzan. Albert Bakery's famous bheja puffs are served during Ramzan every year and should absolutely not be skipped! If you have a sweet tooth, definitely try getting your hands on their khova naan and choba naan.

Savoury has many outlets in the city now, but the crowd's crazy at their Frazer Town branch during Ramzan. Our recommendations from the place are mohabbat ka sharbat (to cool you down after all the walking), haleem, shawarma, samosa, bondas and of course, the kebabs. Apart from these, you can also give their harissa and nalli nihari a try!

FYI, the Empire folks also own the Karama Restaurant opposite to it that serves amazing stuffed dajaj, rolls, nalli nihari, Malabari biryani and seafood and meat barbecues. Our favourites are the izgara chicken, sheesh tawook and shami kebab. The place is a hit if you want to sit in an ambient setting in peace and enjoy a delightful meal with your family.

Hit up Zayan Kebab Corner for the most delicious haleem, kebabs and pathar ka ghost! The place is quite affordable so don't be amazed if you end up eating a four-course meal under INR 500. The spot is always crowded with people keenly waiting for their turns so plan your visit accordingly.

Chichaba's Taj is now run by third-generation owners who still follow their grandfather's original recipes. Try the baida roti, their famous sheekh kebabs, and the Dakhni biryani with haleem.
