What Makes It Awesome?

Exochos - Greek work for excellent; House Of Troy is a new place in town is sure to win hearts with their offerings. I went there for lunch on a weekend and fell instantly in love with the chic ambience. It is very well designed.

As for the drinks, they have a great range of cocktails and mocktails which are presented very well. I tried the Fruity Coconut Water Spritzer which was an absolute delight, tasty and refreshing.

Food:
1. Spanakopita – This is the perfect blend of spinach and cheese, a great way to start a Greek meal.
2. Melitzanes Papoutsakia – For all the eggplant lovers, this dish is a must-have. The presentation is good and it tastes great
3. Linguine Pasta with Creamy Garlic Sauce – You can never go wrong with ordering this. It was not overtly creamy yet the subtle flavours made the dish taste great
4. Artichokes & Bell Peppers with Feta & Walnuts Bruschetta – This bruschetta was my favourite as it was loaded with a lot of delicious toppings
5. Wild Mushroom Risotto – This was one of the best I have had; It had a great consistency and texture and tasted delectable
6. Yemista – Baked vegetables stuffed with. A healthier choice
7. Eggplant Roll with Creamy Polenta – Something different than the usual style of eggplant. Order this only if you enjoy Feta cheese
8. Tomatokeftedes – Delicious bites of tomato and cheese; must have
9. Fasolatha Soup – National food of Greece, tangy and tasty
10. Pumpkin and Kale Soup – A refreshing light soup

Desserts:
1. Baklava with Pistachio icecream – a dream dessert. Sinful indulgence. Must try
2. Loukoumades – I didn’t relish this as it was just fried balls which had a mixture of honey pastry cream and fruit jam. Wasn’t even sweet. Can give this a miss.
