Winning For

They only do a handful of pizzas but they make with them aplomb. Their service {including ordering in} is top-notch and their prices are delightful.

Lowdown On The Ambience

The place is located in a rather quiet part of Hennur and the ambience inside reflects the same. The decor is really quirky with high-stools and round high-tables fit for two. The staff is extremely friendly as well and they’ll help you mix and match toppings to suit your hunger needs.

Slice Of Heaven

On our multiple visits to this small pizzeria in Hennur, we’ve learnt one thing for sure. The menu here may be limited {although they have introduced new toppings in the past month} but the flavours are bang on. The feel here is like you have stepped into a friend’s home for pizzas from his or her oven. And that homemade goodness shines forth when you bite into your slice of pizza.

The thin crust here is paler than usual and is crunchier than usual. While we have no trouble with this, there are some who don’t really care for the extra snap on their base. That’s probably {and that’s a big probably} the only minus point here. On top of the base, comes a layer of melted cheese on which sit the toppings. We love that the toppings are generous here but if you’d prefer your pizza to be crowded with your favourites, then, you can order up extras.

On the mushroom pizza, we loved the crunch of the toppings. And, the pizza only reiterated the point that mushroom and cheese is a flawless combination. We also recommend the Smoky Chicken. The cubes of meat comes tossed in a bit of pepper and spice and do add a tinge of heat to the pizza.

So,We’re Thinking…

If you are in this part of town and are craving pizza, Koel’s will have you satisfied in no time. Finding the place might be a bit hard, so keep your eyes peeled or you’ll be driving around in circles.
