I visited Kurtoskalacs on Christmas eve. This place is famous for its chimney cones and cakes. They make up for a unique and freshly made cuisine. Not heavy on your pocket and yummy for your tummy.
Kurtoskalacs is a Hungarian version of spit cakes which are generally prepared all across Europe in many forms. Spit cakes are made by depositing dough, one at a time, on a cylindrical rotating spit(kind of skewers). Hence they are called "Spit Cakes" or Chimney Cones. They can be both sweet and savoury. They are generally eaten during Christmas eve.

P.S: If you cannot spell this name, you're aren't the only one pal.
