Fenty Beauty recently launched their holiday collection, and we instantly started to add to cart, till we were rudely reminded of the obscene amount of shipping charges that come in between true blessings of the queen and her Indian fanbase. The holiday collection features blush, gloss, and highlighter but we are in awe of the three new refillable semi-matte lipstick shades — Crowd Surf'r, Rowdy Roadie and Loud Speak'r — all of which are beautiful berry shades. And if you've been eyeing them too, then check out these alternatives that are easily available to shop!

Hydra Matte Lipstick By ASA Beauty
Asa Beauty is a conscious clean beauty brand! This lipstick has the goodness of shea cocoa butter, which not only helps with moisturizing but also helps with a great colour payoff. These are currently available in two shades — Alive Autumn, a rich plum shade, and Pretty Petunia, a pretty pink — both of which align with what Fenty's holiday collection is offering. The best part, however, is that they have refillables!
Pop Lip Colour By Clinique
Clinique does amazing skincare and makeup, so, we're sure this lipstick wouldn’t be any short of that. The formula is supposed to feel luxe and lightweight. Users attest that the formula is smooth, moisturizing, and not too shiny.
Super Lustrous Lipstick By Revlon
We haven't yet met someone who hasn't seen Revlon lipsticks stacked in their mom and mom-adjacent's vanity, so we need not say a lot. This one in the shade 'It Is Royal' is a berry colour with red undertones. The lipstick is supposed to have high-impact payoff, buildable coverage, and feel moisturizing and lightweight on the lips. If you wish to go for a darker berry shade then check out Black Berry.
Luxe Matte Lipstick By Lovechild
Masaba Gupta recently stepped into the world of beauty and makeup with her brand new brand, Lovechild. They currently have a range of lipsticks and nail polishes. We've tried their bullet lipsticks and while they don’t have the best staying power, they do have a one-swipe colour payoff and feel super moisturizing on the lips! We recommend the shade Pan-tastic, a deep berry wine shade.

Modern Matte By FAE Beauty
FAE stands for Free And Equal. The name itself sounds promising. FAE by Karishma Kewalramani is a cruelty-free, vegan beauty brand that is all about inclusivity. We've tried their lipsticks before and deliver rich payoff in a smooth comfortable formula. The shade Quirky is a beautiful mulberry wine, similar to Loud Speak'r from Fenty Beauty's range.
Matte Attack Lipstick By Sugar Cosmetics
Tried and tested, this line of transfer-proof lipstick is commendable. The application is super smooth, the lipstick glides like butter and the finish is oh-so-matte! I wouldn't say it's 100% transfer proof but it's definitely long-lasting and transfer resistant, to say the least. They have 16 shades available but we have our eyes on 'The Grandberries', which is a dark berry!
