The lovely Mason & Co chocolate factory in Pondicherry. The brand, which is known for their organic chocolates and their even more interesting flavours (think Chilli, Cinnamon & Dark Chocolate, Rosemary & Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Bar, and even a Peppermint & Sweet Nibs Dark Chocolate Bar), has opened out their factory to guided tours. This means you’ll be given an explanation on how the cacao beans are crafted into chocolates, and naturally, this means tasting is involved. Employing ladies from the local regions to make the chocolate, you can get up close and personal with them, as they take the beans and make them chocolate bars for you to indulge in.
