What Makes It Awesome

Mooch Marod in Whitefield (and Koramangala) wants you to satisfy your paratha cravings in a big way. No! Literally big. Their parathas are about 24 inches wide. Touted as Bangalore’s biggest parathas, the folks at the small North Indian joint hold nothing back when it comes to making things bigger. For people who prefer their parathas in sizes that their mind and tummy can comprehend, it’s the Queen size (15 inches) that will sort you out. For the adventurous, there’s King (20 inches) and Emperor (24 inches) options.

While a bit too much for one person, these massive parathas work best when you are coming with your squad or planning on treating all the bhukkad dost on a budget. The Emperor size parathas are roughly 24-inches wide and can easily feed six people if not more. It’s only the size that MM plays around with as their paratha menu is packed with best sellers and hot favourites. Aloo paratha is their best seller and there are no prizes for guessing why. They do have slightly offbeat stuffings such as paneer and carrot mix as well as the paneer and palak mix. All the parathas are served with dollops of white butter, chutney, and pickle.

If you thought parathas are the only things that get the sizing option, think again. Try their rich lassi that is served in tumblers which we think are really buckets. It’s almost enough to beat one week of summer heat. Okay, we might be pushing it. But if you are planning on drinking it all by yourself, good luck. Apart from regular lassis, they also do flavours such as Gulkand, Litchi, Sweet Paan, and Roohafza!

Pro-Tip

They are now open for dine-in with all safety precautions in place. You can also order-in from them through food delivery services.
