I went to S N Refreshments in JP Nagar where people turn out in huge numbers to savour their favourite breakfast.
I reached around 8 AM on a Saturday after travelling 20 km. There was a decent crowd and it was already bustling with activity. We ordered masala dosa, idli vada, chow bath and coffee.
Dosa was extremely crisp and delicious. It was less oily also compared to other popular breakfast joints. Absolutely enjoyed it. The idli was pillowy and the vada had a nice crunch. They came dipped in coconut chutney with a slight green chilli flavour.
Next was the chow chow bath. Its basically a combination of Khara bath and Kesari bath. Both were bold in flavours. Khara bath had a strong salty flavour with capsicums in it. Kesari bath was pleasantly sweet with small chunks of pineapple in it. Finished off with a hot steaming cup of filter coffee. It was strong and I wished I could make something like this at home.
I was really impressed with the place. Travelling all the way totally paid off. It's a legendary outlet which you must visit. Highly recommended.
