What’s a naanwich you ask? Well, it’s like a sandwich, except instead of bread you use a tandoori naan. Cool, right?

Second To Naan

Naanwiches are food truck Hit & Run’s patent-pending {they should really patent it} hunger busters and as much as we love the sound of it, we also love biting into it during our 4 pm snack run. Naan and kebab prepared fresh off the food truck’s tandoor pit come together with a mix of sauteed onions and mint yoghurt and tandoori mayonnaise. While it’s a shame that vegetarians are restricted to just Paneer Naanwich and Potato wedges, the meat eaters can rejoice in options that range from Pepper Chicken to Chicken Sheekh and Mutton Chop to Lamb Mince. Our personal favourite is the Pepper Chicken naanwich that gets the familiar pepper kick we are so fond of. Pair it with wedges or the wings doused in their in-house BBQ sauce and you have yourself a meal.

Special shout-out to the Lamb Kofta Burger as well. The kofta patty is grilled to juicy goodness and topped with just sauteed onions. None of the burgers or naanwiches have any veggies in them save for the sauteed onions. A big thumbs-up for keeping our meaty snacks as meaty as possible.

Hitting Up The Food Truck

Operational six days a week {Mondays are off}, Hit & Run parks itself in the many tech parks of Bangalore to feed the forever hungry IT souls during lunch time. Post that, they are either in Hennur or 6th Main Indiranagar. Luckily for us and you, these guys regularly and diligently update their location on their Facebook page, so be sure to like their page here.
