Big Pitcher has recently opened its second outlet on Sarjapur Road. The place is bigger than the previous one and spread across 4 floors. I visited this place on a weekend with some friends and tried their dinner buffet and some of the dishes from the a la Carte menu.
Now, here is my perspective of the place. Drinks - You can choose one complimentary beer or a mocktail with their buffet. I opted for Mango Bunny. It was refreshing and sweet and I liked it that way. Appetizers - First of all we were served papdi chaat on the table. It was crunchy and good. They had 3 varieties in veg barbecue starters (Paneer, Pineapple and Assorted Veg which included Cauliflower, Potato, and Mushrooms). Apart from these, there were hara bhara kebab, cheese balls and honey chilli potatoes. I really liked the juicy pineapple, well-marinated cauliflower, and crispy potatoes.
Then there was my favorite Naanza (Pizza + Naan) also which was full of veggies and cheese. Main Course - I was pretty much full with starters itself. But still managed to try a couple of dishes in the main course. The pasta was creamy and cheesy. Then in curries, I liked the Paneer Tikka one. Also, their sambhar and rice tasted amazing. The veg biryani was also good. Desserts - In desserts, again they have good options ranging from gulab jamuns, moong daal halwa to ice creams and assorted pastries. Apart from regular buffet desserts, we tried some of A La Carte Menu desserts as well. They all were just amazing.
The presentation of each dessert was top notch. Chocolate Domb (Choco Lava Cake full of white and dark chocolate served with ice cream) and Caramel Cheesecake both tasted heavenly.
Ambience: The place has a very great ambience. The artwork on the walls is just so good. It’s quite a perfect space for any kind of outing.
Service: The staff was very polite, courteous and welcoming. The overall service was good. Top Most Highlight - Chocolate Domb
