Now that we can all head out and about, we can finally go out and explore Bangalore for all its wonders, be it a new store of an international giant (we're talking about IKEA, yes), a boutique store, an experience centre, or your favourite store that now finally has a branch near your home! If refreshing your home, wardrobe, or pantry is number one on the agenda we hear you, which is why we have found new stores in the city this year for you to get down to business.

Tagda Raho

Say hello to Tagda Raho, a training and fitness start-up, that aims to re-introduce the country to traditional Indian practices of training. With artificial turf on one end and a sand pit on the other, you know you’re in for a unique workout that blends Western and ancient Indian practices. Don’t be intimidated by the presence of Mudgars, Hanuman Gadas, and Sumtolas — all traditional equipment used for centuries to build strength.

Quirksmith

Instagram-famous Quirksmith, an online silver jewellery shop, has opened its creative studio and store in Marathahalli and the space is something you need to check out. You can shop for the brand's popular designs when it comes to jewellery plus also soak in all the creativity at the tastefully done space. The space even has the artisans work on the jewellery.

House Of Play

The folks behind Papagoya Education and Lightroom Bookstore have launched a community space in Cooke Town and we are all for it. House Of Play will be a space that will host events for both adults and children alike. You can check them out for music, food, talks, meetings, classes, workshops, and pretty much everything creative and fun under one roof.

The Conservatory

Located inside The Courtyard, this beautiful space is where intimate private dinners to food pop-ups can be hosted. Tastefully done with planters and shades of green, The Conservatory is currently Bangalore's hottest property when it comes to food and drinks events — ramen nights to special menus, keep an eye out on their Instagram page for all things food and fun!

Smeg At Veterans Interiors

Smeg's first store in Bangalore in collaboration with Veterans Interiors has an experience centre at Residency Road and you can find yourself transported into technological-meets-aesthetic design wonderland. The store has those iconic Smeg retro fridges to those pastel colour water kettles that both you and we have been eyeing for ages. Go on and just do window shopping and then come back and make a savings plan to get yourself a Smeg fridge.

Woodpegger & Other New Restaurants In Town

Check out this list of new restaurants in town that has 21 new restaurants, bars, and cafes that you can check out.

IKEA

IKEA Bangalore is opening on June 22 and it's going to be a massive store — 4.6 lakh square feet massive. From the children's play area to their 1,000-seater restaurant, you can do a lot of things here apart from obviously shopping from each and every section. There are 7,000 affordable, and well-designed home furnishing products for you to shop from.

The Souled Store

Everyone's favourite superhero apparel and fashion store's newest outlet is located on the busy 100 Feet Road of Indiranagar. The ground floor is the men's section and you'll find graphic tees, polo shirts, and shirts featuring your favourite DC, Marvel, Disney, and Warner Bros. characters and movies. On the first floor is the women's section and it keeps the theme of pop culture alive through tees, dresses, shirts, jackets, joggers, pyjamas, and boxers.

Curio Casa

The home decor and home accents store opened recently in Indiranagar and it's filled with all sorts of home accents ranging from show pieces to figurines, and vases to statement lights. The store has a huge collection of mini animal statues as well as contemporary and modern art pieces.
