Treat on Indiranagar’s 80 Feet Road, does North Indian cuisine with competent tikkas, tandoori, makhani, malai and the works. But it’s best to do a delivery from this budget eatery.
North Indian Khana From This Indiranagar Eatery Is Really A Treat
Shortcut
Chow Down
Chicken Tikka, Amritsari Fish, Pindi Chole, Butter Garlic Naan
Sip On
Fresh Lime Soda. The menu is not really adventurous as far as drinks are concerned.
Winning for...
Pakka North Indian flavours, budget pricing and a sizeable section dedicated to fish. No basa here thankfully. There’s pomfret on the menu.
Lowdown On The Ambience
Located on the basement of a building on the busy 80 Feet Road, it is easy to miss this small restaurant. Though there is air conditioning, the space is cramped and there is no decor or atmosphere to speak of. We suggest you get home delivery if you live in Indiranagar, or do a take away.
What's On The Menu?
The Amritsari Fish here is a must-have. The fish tikkas are slathered with masalas and then grilled with the outer charred bits giving away to soft flesh within. Best to be eaten with a piquant pudina chutney. The Chicken Tikkas are competent here and so is the Ajwaini Paneer Tikka, but we found the paneer tikka low on salt. For mains, we have eaten their Rajma Chawal, their Butter Chicken {available in full and half portions} in the past, and we have come back for more. Their Pindi Chole is pretty delicious too and the freshly-made butter garlic naans can be eaten off just like that, with no curry needed.
So, We're Thinking...
On a day when it’s been a crazy at work and you are craving some hearty, comfort food, home delivered grub from Treat should do the trick.
There is Phirni, Gulab Jamun, Rabdi and Ras Malai for dessert here. And also Gajar Ka Halwa in season {read winter}.
