Folks, there’s a new rooftop place in town and it’s completely lit. 100 feet Indra Nagar has a new pub called ‘21st Amendment’ with cool vibes and delicious food and drinks.
The drinks menu here is impressive with some signature cocktails like the ‘Kerala Art’ and our current favourite, the ‘Spring Flower’. The former is a gin-based cocktail while the latter vodka-based. Both cocktails are splendid. Apart from these, you will find the regular ones like the Tequila sunrise and the Daiquiris but each cocktail has a lovely concoction and a delightful new ingredient that makes it refreshingly new.
Not far behind is the food menu at 21st Amendment. Most of the dishes have a certain nostalgic element. Like the famous Pandi pork from Coorg and the Bacon-wrapped chicken or the Curries being served with perfect ‘tandoori naan’. The food menu doesn’t stick to a certain cuisine but it’s rather fluid to accommodate as many flavours that can be perfect for classic eating at a pub. We loved the ‘Cambodian Seafood Broth’ here. With the seafood cooked to perfection and served in a tomato-rich broth with the right amount of spices. The bacon-wrapped chicken tikka is also a nicely executed concept. The pork and fish starters are perfect to be had with the cocktails here. The ‘Deoxitized watermelon salad’ with the feta quenelles and raspberry vinaigrette is another yummy item from the menu that is not to be missed. The main course has a sumptuous spread too with some pretty good options from both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. Among other things, the tender coconut cheesecake is a perfect dessert to finish your meal.
The rooftop setting is partially covered with good ambience for both lunch as well as evenings with your friends. The two-seater tables on the slightly raised deck overlooking the sky are a delightful place to enjoy a romantic evening with bae too. Good place for having a lunch date or lunch with your co-workers. They have different seating options available. We were told that they are in the process of expanding and will soon have a covered space downstairs complete with a dance floor.
For now, you can enjoy the rooftop bar with music in the evenings. Definitely, a cool place to check out soon
