After a sudden craving for decent Eggs Benedict in our city, I decide to try Glen's bakehouse. I landed at this place on a Sunday morning and ordered their Eggs Benedict and a cup of Hot Mokka to enjoy it with.
I must mention the decor is superb with options for both, indoor & outdoor seating. The place is adorned with quirky quotes.
I have tried different variations of egg Benedicts across the globe, I was skeptic about trying the Indian version. What I received was two poached eggs, each sitting tightly on a bed of cooked chicken salami atop English muffins. The accompanying potato lingers were beautifully cooked with loads of red chilli that added to the Indian twist. Look wise, it was not the best looking Benedict I have had but I still loved it. The eggs Benedict served was nice, flavourful & helped me satiate my craving. The Hot Mokka was a hit with delicious and strong chocolate flavour with a tinge of coconut. The hot beverage just made my day. You must also try their famous Red Velvet for dessert.
