What Makes It Awesome

'And Hulk?' 'Smash!' If you've been waiting to say this iconic dialogue, then you can finally do that at Bengaluru's Rage Room. Not that Bengaluru needed a rage room, but given the city's infamous traffic, Bangalore Stonehenge (iykyk), and auto drivers, it's only fair that people need to release all that pent-up aggression somewhere. Set your GPS to Rage Room in Jayanagar (near Southend Circle) and get ready to literally smash and destroy everything from beer bottles to ceramic mugs and TVs to furniture. Also, just imagine getting stuck in traffic on your way here and then truly letting loose once you're in the room.

The whole idea of rage rooms is that you let loose and just take a break. Do you know how they say you need to channel your negative emotions or all that energy into something useful? Yes, breaking a TV with a bat is quite useful. You can go solo or with a friend or SO and pick from the four packages, the basic package starting at INR 299 for solo and INR 549 for couples. In the basic package, you get five minutes to smash your way through beer bottles, plates, mugs, glasses, and bowls. There's a 30-minute solo and couples package that a friend of this writer described as a better form of couples therapy.

Before you start your session, you're kitted up for safety—face shields, gloves, helmets, and jackets, etc. Then pick up your weapon of choice—hammers to rods, they got it all. Once the timer goes get ready to smash. Oh and the best part? You don't have to clean up.

Pro-Tip

Walk-ins are not entertained, so it's best recommended to book a slot via their website.
