Started by popular guitarist Sanjeev Thomas, Rainbow Bridge follows a curriculum devised by the musician himself, the school veers away from the traditional way of teaching music and makes it a fun course for students. Apart from Beginner and Advanced Courses for Instruments (they have classes for guitar, drums, saxophone, violin and keyboard) and Voice, they have crash courses for kids aged five to six, which introduce them to different instruments (letting them choose what they love the most). Want something more technical? Opt for the Specialised Courses which let you master Sound Design or Music Production.
The well-equipped studio doubles up as a jam pad for band practices as well as a recording space for artistes, bands and Sanjeev’s own work projects. So, the students get to witness live recording sessions and, perhaps, even be part of one at some point. That’s not all. With a lineup of monthly workshops by musicians and hands-on experiences like the recent guitar-making workshop, this music school (and its students, of course) is one to look out for. There are mini showcases that are conducted where students put up performances so as to show their loved ones how much they have learnt. With classes starting at INR 3,000 for a month (for four classes), we think it's a good investment.
