Famished after a shopping spree around Commercial Street? Then, hop over to Sagar Chats for their butter-happy Pav Bhaji.

Bhaji Banter

Wedged in between busy shops selling everything from flowing fabrics to fashionable shoes, Sagar Chats has been the go-to eatery for countless shoppers looking for a quick and filling snack. Their laminated and bound menu includes chaats, grilled sandwiches, and fruit juices. But we recommend that you wholly concentrate on the Pav Bhaji here.

Shell out 80 bucks and you get two, downy pavs that have been warmed up on the tava after being generously slathered with butter. Along with it comes a generously helping of the tangy, tomato and spice-packed bhaji. Again, this too comes with a small cube of melting butter in it. All you need to do is, sprinkle in the slivers of onion, squirt in the lime and dig in. While we can’t guarantee for its authenticity, we can vouch for the fact that your plate of Pav Bhaji will do a stellar job of quelling your hunger pangs.

What Else Is On The Menu

If you are looking to try other things on their menu, their chaat is a good option. Again, we won’t harp about the authenticity but it does deliver on the taste front. Do try out the offerings under the ‘Delhi Chaat’ headline on their menu, those are the most promising. The Papdi Chaat, Dahi Puri, and the Special Sev Batata Puri are worth trying. Avoid the lacklustre Pani Puri here.

You can pair your munchies with a simple fresh, fruit juice or a milkshake should do the trick. If you are tempted by their ice-cream specials, we recommend that you hop over to Shiv Sagar close by and dig into their popular Sizzling Brownie instead.
