While the place is quite small, the walls covered with graffiti and the few wooden tables with artworks on them {we were seated at one which had Charlie Chaplin painted on it} lend a cheery ambience to the space. Plus, games like Jenga and Chess to amp up the fun.

Barely into its second month, Shake It Off {yes, the name is inspired by the Taylor Swift track}, started by Anil Paremal and Nishant Tripathi offers milkshakes in regular as well as quirky versions. With wacky names, too! While you’ll find the usual options like Pink Floyd {strawberry}, Nutorius Big {peanut butter and banana} and Kitty Kat {Kitkat, of course}, you’ll also spot milkshakes like The Mentic {that’s Mentos and Tic Tac}, Salty Carrie {salted caramel} and Guardians of the Galaxy {Galaxy and Gems}. Loaded with scoops of ice cream, the thick milkshakes are all prepared by Anil.

We tried the Bubba Bubba first, which has an unmistakable bubble gum flavour that we loved, although it may be too sweet for some. Don’t be surprised if the familiar taste takes you back to your childhood days. The Cheese Cake Thrilla {made with a chunky slice of the cake} is subtler, though, and the distinct taste of the dessert takes a moment to hit you. If you’re up for something adventurous, ask for their Achar Milkshake, available on special request and served in a shot glass. Made with spoonfuls of mango pickle, this one might surprise you with its burst of flavours – sweet, spicy and slightly tangy with the creamy texture of the milkshake. Although we must say it’s a bit of an acquired taste and might not be a hit with everyone {well, unless you particularly like drinking curd rice moonlighting as milkshakes}. Want to grab a quick bite? Cheesy and filling, their sammich {sandwich} of the day – Paneer Cheese Melt, Mushroom Cheese Melt or Mex Grilled Cheese – is what you can try.
